Ok, this person sent me a postcard about their favorite show. They are from Germany, and their favorite TV show is called Stromberg, and it's inspired by our show The Office.

This is a quote from the main character of the show, but I think I may be missing something from the translation. I even tried to look it up in other ways but no dice. So, here it is. I'm going to have to try to catch this show with subtitles or something...

The sender says she's reading Ein Liebender Mann by Martin Walser, which sounds like it could be interesting. I wonder if it will available in English any time soon?

The postcard says "Beautiful Laboe," the name of the resort. The sender says this is a nice beach even in the winter!

This says, "Beautiful Trier, Here resided Constantine the Great." Martina says Trier is beautifully decorated each year for Christmas, and that people come from all over Germany, France, the UK and even the US to see it at this time of year.

A portion from The Birth of Venus. Dagmar chose this postcard to send me from her hometown from Frankfurt, Germany because right now, Frankfurt is the home of a large exhibit of the works of Botticelli. I'd love to be able to go there and see it!
